(St. Paul MN-) Parents who bring their children to Minnesota for "gender-affirming health care" that's illegal in their home state would be shielded from prosecution or legal intervention while in Minnesota -- that under a bill the Democrat-controlled Minnesota House passed early this morning after long and heated debate. The bill's backers point out Minnesota doesn't permit genital surgery for transgender minors. And Saint Louis Park Democrat Larry Kraft asked parents to think about their child receiving medical treatment that is absolutely critical to their health or even life-saving.
